"ZAPANTIS" is a technical and commercial enterprise, 
which starts activities in mechanical applications and trading of oil equipment, in 1964. Later, it extends to an industrial company, designing and producing the first "made in Greece" air draft burner, at a low, for that time, price and makes it available in the Greek and Cyprus market.
In 1974 decides to turn its activities to the Gas Fuel market. Readjusts and begins new co-operations with famous European Houses and since 1978, its exclusive objective is Gas Fuels which gives ZAPANTIS GAS CENTER the position of the only Greek technical, industrial and commercial company in the Field of Gas.
By representing the most famous and credible manufacturers as SAUNIER DUVAL, KROMSHRODER, HOFAMAT, ELSTER, A O SMITH, KUPPERSBUSCH etc, ZAPANTIS GAS CENTER presents the Gas Fuels - applications and advantages - to the Greek consumer. By disposing a big range of Gas products, it covers the needs from a single apartment to hotels to industrial applications. This way it becomes a specialist in the Gas Field, by obtaining the required technical knowledge and experience for design and construction. In 1982 supplies the Athens Enterprise of Gas (DEFA), with more than 12.000 Gas meters, by undertaking the first Gas Fuel tender in Greece.
For the best organization and promotion of the products it represents or distributes, creates GAS CENTER, a commercial company and meanwhile the first outlet network of appliances and equipment for Gas, operating under the Franchising concept, at the same time keeping the old representatives.
With the forthcoming entrance of Natural Gas from Russia, the Group extents its activities, by creating in 1995 a prototype research and education center, the INSTITUTE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES (INT) which, by fulfilling all the latest regulations in its establishment and faculty, is capable of educating all levels of technical people, in the - new for Greece - technology of Gas Fuels.
Having this excellent past as foundation, but with secure and organized steps, the first Greek Industrial, Commercial, Technical, Consulting and Education Group of Companies, leads the interesting future of the much promising Field of Gas Energy.
